La Boqueria Market

Mercat de la Boqueria, officially Mercat de Sant Josep, has been a Barcelona institution since 1217. Located on La Rambla, it is one of Europe's largest and most famous food markets. Over 200 stalls sell fresh Mediterranean seafood, tropical fruits, jamón ibérico, artisan cheeses, olives, spices, freshly squeezed juices, and prepared foods.
